Dipen Desai Ph.D.

Dipen Desai, PhD., MBA has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dipen is currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at Azurity Pharmaceuticals since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President, Complex Product R&D at Amneal Pharmaceuticals from 2021 to 2023 and Vice President, Formulation & Analytical Research And Development at kashiv Specialty Pharmaceuticals from 2020 to 2021. From 2018 to 2020, Dipen worked at Kashiv BioSciences LLC, where they held multiple roles including Vice President Research And Development and Vice President Formulation & Process Development. Dipen also has previous experience as an Executive Director and Director at Kashiv Pharma LLC from 2011 to 2019 and as a Principal Scientist and Graduate Research Intern at Hoffmann-La Roche from 2004 to 2011. Dipen has expertise in various areas including formulation and process development, drug delivery platforms, and pharmaceutical technologies.

Dipen Desai, PhD., MBA began their education at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, where they obtained their B.Pham degree in Pharmacy from 1997 to 2001. Dipen then further pursued their education at the University of Rhode Island, earning their Ph.D in Pharmaceutics between 2002 and 2007. Lastly, they attended NYU Stern School of Business from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship.
