Nissa Langmo

Nissa Langmo is a skilled professional with experience as a Medical Receptionist at Azzolino Chiropractic Neurology Group since July 2023. Previously, Nissa served as a Supplemental Instruction Mentor at the University of California, Riverside from October 2020 to June 2023, where mentorship was provided to 50 Supplemental Instruction Leaders through training workshops and bi-quarterly observations. Nissa also worked as a Student Laboratory Assistant in the Raihkel lab, conducting research on the role of the target of rapamycin pathway in regulating the FOXA protein during reproduction in Aedes aegypti, utilizing RNAi techniques. In addition, Nissa led supplemental instruction sessions for 20-50 students in General Chemistry, Introduction to Biology, and Introductory Math, creating lesson plans to enhance learning experiences. Nissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside, earned in 2023, and completed secondary education at Lowell High School in 2019.
