Wes Cetnarowski

Wes Cetnarowski is the SVP & Scientific Affairs Chief Medical Officer at B. Braun Group. Wes has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including positions at Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, Bayer HealthCare, and Allergan LLC.

At Ipsen, Wes was responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for Clinical Research, Drug Safety, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Biostatistics across Endocrinology and Neurology business units. Wes delivered near and long term strategies and tactics to protect and optimize company products. Wes was a Senior physician in the US and member of the Management Committee.

At Bayer, Wes was responsible for the full scope of research and development activities globally consisting of formulation, analytical, pre-clinical, clinical development and medical affairs, regulatory affairs, drug safety, project management and innovation departments. Wes was responsible for an annual budget of greater than 120MM through 9 direct and 300 indirect reports globally. Their experience includes specialty pharma and consumer products.

As VP of Medical Affairs at Allergan LLC, Wes was responsible for the company’s global medical affairs strategy across all therapeutic areas. Wes oversaw a team of over 50 employees and led initiatives that resulted in increased efficiencies and effectiveness of the medical affairs function.
