Bijaya Mishra

Bijaya Mishra is an accomplished academic and healthcare professional with extensive experience in the field of medicine and education. Currently serving as the Vice President Education for Dharan Toastmasters Club since July 2024, Bijaya also holds the position of Associate Professor at B. P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, a role undertaken since November 2016, previously holding titles of Assistant Professor and Lecturer, Senior Resident. Involvement with professional organizations includes serving as an Executive Committee Member for the Nepalese Association for Clinical Chemistry and as a Board Member of the Rare Diseases Society of Nepal, both roles commenced in 2024 and 2023, respectively. Bijaya has been a member of the Dharan Toastmasters Club since March 2018 and has previous experience as a Medical Officer at Tribhuvan University’s Institute of Medicine. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from B.P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Tianjin Medical University.
