Swarna Ramaswamy is a Lead Research Scientist at B2S Life Sciences. Swarna has over 10 years of experience in the Biotech industry, with a focus on preclinical and clinical support for biologics and ligand binding assays. Prior to their current role, they were a Senior Research Scientist at Nexelis from February 2016 to October 2020, where they provided preclinical and clinical support for biologics and early discovery IND enabling studies. From August 2015 to December 2015, they were an Adjunct Professor at Ivy Tech Community College, teaching courses in Biotechnology and Microbiology. From January 2015 to February 2016, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stark Neuroscience- Indiana University School of Medicine, conducting research on the function of the CaMKII enzyme and peptide screens to identify binding partners and modulators. From August 2010 to September 2014, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. And from December 2008 to May 2010, they were a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science. Swarna began their career in 2008 as a Summer Research Fellow at the Center for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics.
