Alexandre Barbosa

Alexandre Barbosa has a diverse work experience in the IT sector, starting their career as a System Analyst at Unibanco in 2002. Alexandre then moved on to roles as a System analyst at Santander and a System architect at BM&F before joining Itaú BBA as a System architect in 2004. Their longest tenure was at BM&FBOVESPA agora é B3, where they held various roles such as IT Coordinator, IT Manager, and finally IT Associate Director - Pricing and Risk from 2005 to 2017. Alexandre then transitioned to B3 in 2017, taking on roles such as IT Associate Director - CCP, IT Associate Director - Blockchain, Faster Payments, and CSD, and currently holds the position of IT Managing Director - OTC, Data Analytics, and Insurance.

Alexandre Barbosa completed their Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and Strategic Planning at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 1999 to 2004. Alexandre pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Derivatives, Economics, and Capital Markets at Universidade de São Paulo / Instituto Educacional BM&F from 2007 to 2008. In addition, they earned various certifications in technology and management including the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) in 2013 and the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist in 2020.
