Lucas Rabechini Amaral

Lucas Rabechini Amaral has a diverse work experience in the financial sector, holding prominent positions at various companies. Lucas started their career at Itaú BBA as a Market Risk Analyst in 2008. Over the years, they have worked as an Algorithm Developer at Bulltick, a Quantitative Analyst at Souza Barros Câmbio e Títulos, and a Quantitative Trader at Princeton Alpha Management LP. Lucas then joined XP Inc., where they held roles such as Head of the Market Making Desk, Head of Equities and Derivatives, and most recently Director of Financial Products. Lucas also has experience at B3, serving as a Member of the Advisory Risk Committee and currently as President of the Advisory Equities Committee.

Lucas Rabechini Amaral completed an Incomplete degree in Business Administration and Management at Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa in 2005. Lucas went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Instituto de Matemática e Estatística - Universidade de São Paulo (IME-USP) in 2008. Lucas continued their education by obtaining a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from New York University in 2016 and a Master of Science in Operations Research from Columbia University in 2022. Most recently, they completed the Owner/President Management Program (OPM) at Harvard Business School in 2024.
