Sevtap Ertekin has a diverse work experience ranging from quality assurance to laboratory responsibilities. Sevtap started their career in 2007 as an Intern Biologist at Özel Mersin Diyabet Hastanesi and later worked as an Intern Biologist at Mersin Üniversitesi Araştırma ve Uygulama Hastanesi in 2008. Sevtap then joined Targid A.S. as a Microbiology Laboratory Responsible from October 2011 to March 2012. From March 2012 to July 2018, they worked as a QA/QC Responsible at Narin BYS Foreign Trade Inc. Sevtap later joined PMS Healthcare Technologies as a Quality Assurance Responsible from July 2018 to October 2018. Currently, Sevtap is working as a Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager at Baalbaki Chemical Industries (BCI) since October 2018.
Sevtap Ertekin completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology at Mustafa Kemal University from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in the Food Engineering Department at the same university from 2009 to 2011. In 2013 and 2014, they obtained a certification in Occupational Health and Safety Expert from The Ministry of Labor and Social Security. In 2015, they obtained Pedagogic Formation certification from Cukurova University's Education Faculty.
As for additional certifications, Sevtap Ertekin obtained Integrated QMS Quality Engineering Certification Program from CARDCERT in October 2019. Sevtap also has an IELTS certification obtained from the British Council in June 2023.
