Amit Marya

Amit Marya has over 16 years of experience in retail operations and management. Amit began their career in 2003 as a Product Manager at Times Internet Ltd. (Indiatimes) and then joined Future Group India in 2005. In 2006, they became a Regional Manager-Operations at RPG Retail and later transitioned to a Senior Manager-Retail Operations role at Reliance BIG Entertainment Pvt Ltd in 2007. In 2010, Amit joined Vishal Mega Mart Gurgaon, India as a Zonal Manager, where they worked for almost a decade. In 2019, they joined Baazar Retail Pvt. Ltd. as the Head of Retail.

Amit Marya's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from DAV College, Chandigarh, which they completed from 1992 to 1995. Amit then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from Kurukshetra University, where they studied from 1995 to 1997. Recently, in 2021 to 2022, Amit attended the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta to complete an Executive Program in Leadership and Management, with a focus on Strategy and Leadership. So, Amit Marya has a background in Physics, followed by post-graduate studies in Marketing and Executive training in Leadership and Management.
