Gina O'connor

Gina O'Connor is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in innovation management and marketing. Since January 2019, Gina has served as a Professor of Innovation Management at Babson College. Gina's long-standing affiliation with the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) as a member since 1995 underscores a commitment to innovation in the field. Prior to Babson College, Gina held various prominent roles at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2001 to December 2018, including Professor of Marketing and Innovation Management, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and Director of both the Radical Innovation Research program and the Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship. Gina also contributed to the academic environment as a Visiting Professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2011, focusing on Social Entrepreneurship. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Marketing and Corporate Strategy from New York University, an MBA in Finance from Saint Louis University, and a BS in Psychology from Saint Louis University.
