Patrick Powers

Patrick Powers has diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

In 2018, they worked as a Day Camp Coordinator at YMCA of the Triangle for a period of three months.

In 2020, they worked as a Utility Forester (temporary position) at Environmental Consultants (ECI) for a month, followed by a role as a Field Technician at Draper Aden Associates for ten months.

In 2021, they worked as a Farming Apprentice at Shalom Farms for six months.

In 2022, they joined Babylon Micro-Farms as an Urban Farm Maintenance Technician for six months. Later in the same year, they were promoted to Lead Farm Operations Technician, and in 2023, they took on the role of Farm Operations Manager at the same company.

Patrick Powers attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Earth Science and a minor in Archaeology. Patrick'sfield of study during this time was Geology/Earth Science, General. In 2019, Patrick also participated in a study abroad program at the University of Canterbury, focusing on Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. In 2021, they enrolled at the University of Richmond for a Professional Certificate in Beer Brewing, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
