Andrew Meltzer

Andrew Meltzer has worked as a Professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences since July 2022. Prior to this, they were an Associate Professor at the same institution from June 2015 to August 2022. Additionally, they served as the Director of Urgent Matters starting in October 2018. Before that, they worked as a CMO at 1EQ, where they played a role in the acquisition of the iBirth pregnancy app in June 2013. Andrew also has experience as an Emergency Physician and Assistant Professor at George Washington University from June 2012 to 2015.

Andrew Meltzer holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Translational Research from The George Washington University, which they completed in 2014. Prior to this, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, School of Public Health (SPH) in 2002. Andrew completed their Residency in Emergency Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine from 2002 to 2006. Andrew Meltzer also holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General, which they earned from Brown University in 2000.
