Wei Wang

As Vice President of Production at Bachem Torrence, Wei is responsible for GMP manufacturing of Generic and NEC peptides, as well as PMO drug substances including the Gen1.1 automation line. He is a chemist by training in carbohydrate synthesis, oligonucleotide synthesis, and peptide production for 30 years. Prior to joining Bachem in 2020, he had worked with a peptide company, CSBio and led TIDES automation, peptide process development and commercial production. He holds a PhD degree in Chemistry from the Chinese academy of sciences (CAS).
