Courtney Totten has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Courtney started their career as an Admissions Assistant at Moravian University from September 2008 to June 2012. Courtney then worked as an Event Coordinator for Octagon's BMW Drive for Team USA from June 2012 to August 2012.
In 2012, Courtney joined the American Cancer Society, where they held various roles. Courtney started as a Fundraising Coach for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer from September 2012 to December 2012. Courtney then became a Special Events Coordinator from December 2012 to November 2013. Finally, they served as a Community Development Manager from November 2013 to December 2017.
In January 2018, Courtney transitioned to Back on My Feet as a Manager of National Development, a position they held until December 2020. Courtney then became the Director of Expansion Strategies from January 2021 to January 2023, where they developed and implemented growth strategies and oversaw pilot programs.
Courtney's most recent position is Senior Director of Race Revenue and Events at Back on My Feet, which they started in February 2023. In this role, they manage the annual race and events revenue budget, cultivates race participants into major donors, and oversees event logistics, digital marketing, and donor stewardship efforts.
