Kara Choi

Kara Choi is a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Events at Backal Hospitality Group since August 2022. Previously, Kara held the role of Private Dining Sales Manager at 21 Club from November 2019 to August 2021, and prior to that, functioned as the Director of Special Events at Panevino Restaurant from April 2013 to November 2019. Kara began a career in hospitality at Union Square Hospitality Group as a Reservationist/Group Sales from August 2011 to October 2012, and has also worked as a Maitre d'/FOH Coordinator at Fishtail by David Burke. Earlier experience includes serving as a Hostess at The Palm Restaurant. Kara Choi earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Pace University between 2009 and 2011.
