Chris Vanden Berghe

Chris Vanden Berghe has extensive work experience in various technology and product management roles. Chris is currently the VP of Technology, APAC at Backbase. Prior to that, they were the Founder & CTO at 4xLabs for six years. Chris also served as the Director and Head of Product at DataSpark for a year. Before that, they worked at IHS Markit as a VP of Product Management for two years. Chris had a significant tenure at Refinitiv, an LSEG business, where they held multiple positions including Business Manager, Business Development Manager, and Product Specialist. Chris started their career as a Computer Security Researcher at IBM Research.

Chris Vanden Berghe completed their MBA in EMBA-Global Asia from both Columbia Business School and London Business School between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from KU Leuven from 2002 to 2006.
