David Cuccias

David Cuccias is an accomplished engineering manager and software engineer with extensive experience in frontend development and team leadership across multiple companies. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Backblaze since January 2022, David built and expanded the Frontend team while previously holding roles such as Senior Software Engineer. Prior experience includes significant contributions to Coursera's Degree product, engineering management at Orbital Insight, and team leadership at Declara and VMware. Throughout their career, David has consistently guided technical decisions, developed internal tools, and enhanced user experiences, backed by a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.
