Frank P. Patchel

Frank P. Patchel is the chief financial officer of Backblaze. Frank has served as the CFO & COO for both public and private companies in information technology and software as a service (SaaS) in several industries. He has also served as president for two companies that were successfully sold to public companies. His corporate development work includes authoring strategic plans, preparing companies for an IPO and executing over a dozen mergers and acquisitions. Frank's career started with Ernst & Young where he became a CPA and includes 15 years with ADP with the last half as a divisional CFO & COO. Frank received a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
