Mauricio Franco

Mauricio Franco has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different roles and industries. Mauricio is currently working as a User Experience Lead at BACKBONE since July 2022. Prior to that, Mauricio was a Senior User Experience Designer at Sophos Solutions S.A.S. from December 2020 to July 2022. Mauricio also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at diseño Franco from January 2017 to December 2020.

Mauricio has had various other roles and experiences, including working as an Independent Recruiter at Torre from April 2020 to June 2020, as a Designer/Implementer at JULIUS Connected 2 Grow from October 2019 to May 2020, and as a Coordinator of Design at Corporación ENTREVIÑETAS from July 2017 to December 2019.

Before that, Mauricio worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Classari from April 2016 to January 2017. Mauricio also co-founded Gora Makerspace in April 2015, where they served as a Cofounder until April 2016. Mauricio's early career includes a brief role as a Production Assistant at Facebook in July 2015 and August 2015.

Mauricio Franco completed their education at the Corporación Colegiatura Colombiana from 2011 to 2018, where they obtained a degree in Graphic Design. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained additional certifications. Mauricio completed a course on Futures Thinking from Coursera in December 2021, participated in a workshop on Innovation by SerNorthe in August 2014, and received a membership certification from The Interaction Design Foundation.
