Josh Kling

Josh Kling is the Director of Outdoor Pursuits and Assistant Director of Recreational Services at Fort Lewis College since July 2018, where programs focus on environmental awareness and personal development through outdoor experiences. As an IFMGA Licensed Mountain Guide and founder of Kling Mountain Guides, Josh has extensive guiding experience and serves as an On Snow Curriculum and Instructor Development Advisor for Friends of the San Juans. Additionally, Josh is an author for Beacon Guidebooks, a Brand Ambassador for Backcountry Access, Inc., a professional ski patroller at Purgatory Resort, and a lead medical instructor for Wilderness Medical Associates International. Josh's extensive background in outdoor education and guiding is supported by a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Fort Lewis College.
