Kim Avery

Kim Avery, EdD has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kim is currently the Chief People Strategy Officer at Backpack Healthcare, where they are responsible for developing strategies to provide inclusive mental healthcare. Previously, they founded Avery Moana Group in 2020. Kim also held various leadership roles at CoverMyMeds, a McKesson Company, where they focused on improving employee experience and internal communications. Kim has also worked at Verizon Business Markets and Verizon, where they held positions in operations, customer service, and technical support. Kim Avery brings a wealth of experience in the healthcare and technology industries.

Kim Avery, EdD has a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2021. Kim also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Ohio Dominican University, completed from 2008 to 2010.

In terms of additional certifications, Kim Avery is a Certified Professional Coach from iPEC Coaching, and a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci. Kim has also completed the Achieve for Diverse Talent Program from The Achieve Institute, and holds the certification of Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation. Additionally, Kim has completed the Enterprise Change Management program from Prosci and is a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certified by SHRM.
