Paolo Guerra

Paolo completed his MSc in Physics at the University of Trento in Italy and then moved to the Netherlands for his Ph.D. in Systems Biology. His research focused on growth-controlling pathways and cell cycle regulators in budding yeast. He then moved to London as a postdoctoral researcher at King’s College, where he worked on membrane and lipids regulation in fungi.

At Bactobio, Paolo will focus on expanding the automation capability of the microbial generation platform to increase the number of cultured microbial species.
