Fani Ntana

Strain engineer at Bactolife

Fani Ntana has extensive work experience in the field of research and engineering. They started their career as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD Fellow at the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, University of Copenhagen in 2016 and worked in this role until 2019. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens) from 2020 to 2021. They then became a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University from February 2021 to December 2022. Currently, Fani Ntana is working as a Strain Engineer at Bactolife, starting from January 2023.

Fani Ntana began their education journey in 2008 at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology. Fani dedicated herself to their studies and successfully completed their degree in 2013.

Motivated to further their knowledge and skills, Fani pursued a Master's Degree in Biotechnology at The University of Edinburgh. From 2014 to 2015, they delved into the field of biotechnology, acquiring a deeper understanding of its concepts and applications.

Not content with their achievements thus far, Fani aimed for greater heights and enrolled at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2016. Here, they embarked on the journey to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology. Over the course of three years, from 2016 to 2019, they devoted herself to extensive research, expanding their expertise in molecular biology.

Fani's educational progression shows their dedication to continuous learning and building a strong foundation in their field of study.
