Matt Stempeck is an experienced technologist and civic engagement advocate with a diverse background in leveraging technology for democratic enhancement. Currently serving on the Advisory Board of the Civic AI Observatory and as faculty and librarian at the London College of Political Technologists, Stempeck is also the curator of the Civic Tech Field Guide, which catalogs over 8,000 civic tech projects. Previous roles include Director of Civic Technology at Microsoft, Director of Digital Mobilization for Hillary for America, and Technologist in Residence at Cornell University, where Stempeck pioneered the Siegel Public Interest Tech Impact Fellowship.
