Nina O'Brien

Nina O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nina started their career in 2002 as a Public Relations Intern at the Wisconsin State Fair, where they developed and coordinated events and created press kits. In 2003, they worked as a Marketing Intern at the Wisconsin Technical College System. In 2005, Nina joined the Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care as a Communications & PR Specialist, where they focused on issues related to perinatal care. Concurrently, they served as a Silent Auction Coordinator / Planner at the Perinatal Foundation. In 2005, Nina also began working at MindShare, initially as an Associate and then as a Senior Associate, where they worked on accounts such as BP, Castrol, Unilever (Degree Deodorants and Breyer's Ice Cream). In 2008, they became a Manager at MindShare before transitioning to Bader Rutter in 2011. At Bader Rutter, they held the roles of Media Supervisor and Associate Media Director. Overall, Nina's work experience demonstrates a strong background in media and communications roles within various industries.

Nina O'Brien attended Dominican High School from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a College Prep curriculum. Following their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. At the university, Nina obtained a B.A. degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communication, with a focus on Advertising & PR.

In addition to their formal education, Nina also obtained a certification in IAB Digital Media Buying & Planning from IAB Learning in May 2017.
