David Bronicheski

David Bronicheski's work experience includes various leadership roles in different industries. David is currently serving as the Corporate Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Altius Renewable Royalty Corp., where they contribute to the company's efforts in reducing the global carbon footprint through innovative financing in the renewable energy industry. Additionally, they are a Corporate Director at Badger Daylighting Inc., a leading provider of non-destructive excavation and related services in North America.

Prior to these roles, David served as the Chief Financial Officer of Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., a publicly traded utilities company with regulated water, gas, and electric utilities in Canada and the United States, as well as non-regulated clean and renewable power generation assets. David held this position for over 13 years, responsible for the company's long-term financial strategy.

Before joining Algonquin, David also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Amtelecom Income Fund and Sudbury Regional Hospital, where they oversaw financial and information portfolios. David has also held the position of Vice-President & General Manager at Northern Cable Holdings Limited.

David Bronicheski earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Finance from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne in the years 1978 to 1982. David then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, specializing in Finance and Industrial Relations, from 1984 to 1986. In 1984, David also obtained the designation of Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. In 2012, they acquired the certification of Chartered Professional Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
