Ellese Nguyen

Ellese Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Ellese worked as a Software Engineer at Badger Meter, where they gained proficiency in Elasticsearch and writing queries to multiple indexes. Ellese also worked on front-end bug fixes using Python, JavaScript, coffee, HTML, and CSS. Additionally, they debugged using IntelliJ debugger and Chrome DevTools. Before that, Ellese worked as a Software Engineer Trainee at the same company, where they focused on front-end bug fixes and learned about github workflow and branch management. Prior to their role at Badger Meter, Ellese held an internship position at SlingFin, Inc., where they assisted in running a KickStarter campaign for the HoneyBadger Pack. Lastly, they worked as a QA Intern at Everyone Counts, Inc., where they contributed to software integrity testing, user experience testing, and technical and user manual edits/reviews for projects related to the 2016 Presidential Elections.

Ellese Nguyen obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley from the years 2016 to 2020. In 2019, they participated in the UC Education Abroad Program at the University of Sussex, where they focused on the School of Engineering and Informatics.
