Kathy Dahl

Kathy Dahl has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kathy began their career in 1994 as a Mechanical Drafter at Frank L. Wells Company, where they generated 3D drawings using AutoCAD and created detailed 2D drawings and BOMs. Kathy then transitioned to EXTEN Industries in 2011, working as a Quality Control Technician. In this role, Kathy performed quality testing procedures during the manufacturing processes and ensured that products met quality standards. Following their time at EXTEN Industries, they joined Badger Meter in 2012. At Badger Meter, Kathy initially worked as a Manufacturing Engineer I, utilizing their skills in computer-aided design (AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks), new product development, system thinking, and root cause analysis to enhance production efficiency and safety. Later, they took on the role of Manufacturing Process Specialist, where they focused on research and development of new tooling and processes, design of fixtures and jigs, and managing tooling projects. Throughout their career, Kathy has demonstrated their expertise in mechanical and manufacturing engineering.
