Makayla Mustas

Makayla Mustas has had a range of work experiences in various roles and industries. Makayla started their career as a lifeguard at Waukesha County Parks & Land Use in 2017 and also worked as a lifeguard at Good Times Summer Day Camp in 2020. In 2018, Makayla interned at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where they conducted research on mental and reproductive health and became the first author of a research paper.

In 2019, they worked as a sales associate at Altar'd State. In 2020, Makayla worked as a childcare provider as an independent provider and also served as the Risk Management Chairwoman at Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority.

Currently, Makayla is gaining project management experience at Badger Meter, where they started as a project management intern in 2022 and has now transitioned into the role of Associate Project Manager in 2023.

Makayla Mustas completed their high school education at the High School of Health Sciences from 2015 to 2019, earning a High School Diploma. Makayla then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Supply Chain Management at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2021 to 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Makayla has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. In September 2022, they obtained certifications in Interpersonal Communication and Project Management Foundations: Integration and Procurement. In August 2022, they acquired a certification in Designing a Presentation and Project Management: International Projects. In July 2022, they completed a certification in Project Management Foundations: Communication. In June 2022, Makayla obtained certifications in Learning Excel for the web (Office 365/Microsoft 365), Project Management Foundations, Project Management Skills for Leaders, and Strategic Thinking.
