Giles Ambrose

Giles Ambrose is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in technology and strategy management. Currently serving as the Engineering, Technology and Strategy Director, Chief Technology Officer and Business Strategy, and Head Of Engineering at BAE Systems, Inc. since November 2016, Giles has held multiple leadership roles including Engineering Manager. Prior experience includes positions at Babcock International Group from January 2012 to October 2016 as Engineering Manager, Engineering Team Leader, and Mechanical Engineer, as well as a tenure at BAE Systems from September 2008 to December 2011 involving business winning governance and bid support alongside mechanical engineering. Giles holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, earned between 2003 and 2007.
