Latina Rivers

Latina Rivers currently serves as Principal Sr. Systems Engineer and Systems Engineer Lead at BAE Systems, Inc., overseeing the development and integration of embedded systems. Previously, Latina held the position of Senior Electrical Engineer/IPT Lead at Raytheon Technologies, leading cross-functional teams and interfacing with customers on multiple engineering programs. Additional experience includes a role as Project Coordinator at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center focused on energy management, and as a Test Engineer/Chemist at CEM Corporation where Latina enhanced processes for microwave instrument sensor systems. Early career highlights include serving as an Educator in engineering at Edgefield County School System, Test Engineer Intern at NASA, and Research Assistant at Middle Tennessee State University specializing in biocompatible polymers. Latina holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology & Engineering and Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Spanish from The University of Alabama.
