David Bond

David has an extensive career in Offshore Drilling and Completions around the world. He has demonstrated the capability to manage several remote start up deepwater drilling operations in Australia – Timor Sea and Africa – Mauritania, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon Tanzania and Senegal. David developed the Technical Limit drilling methodology to safely improve drilling and completion performance. He managed the first use of Surface BOPs on a DP drill rig to extend the rig’s water depth capability to over 1,500m. He has provided Technical Limit consultancy to BG, Shell, Santos and Beach Energy.
