Richard Turner

Richard Turner has 50 years of experience since graduation from Marietta (Ohio) College with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. After working in the US Gulf of Mexico offshore for his first 11 years, Richard then worked internationally between the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. He has provided drilling engineering, operations, advisory, and management to a variety of large and small oil companies. Projects have been onshore, offshore shallow water, and offshore deep water. Richard was the Project Manager for Ophir Energy exploratory drilling projects for four African countries. Each project achieved the subsurface and cost goals in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner.
