Stefan Ries

Stefan Ries is an experienced executive and advisor with a robust portfolio in governance and investment. Currently serving as Head of the Governance Board at Bahlsen Group since October 2021, Stefan Ries is also a Governance Board Member for the same organization. In addition, Stefan Ries holds investor roles at StackFuel, LS Instruments, DearEmployee, and MONDAY.ROCKS, all starting from January 2022. Furthermore, Stefan Ries acts as an External Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company, a position held since January 2021 until June 2025, and previously contributed as a Senior Business Advisor at TIER Mobility and Brand Ambassador at SAP. Prior to these roles, Stefan Ries was the Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Relations Director at SAP from April 2014 to May 2020 and worked as a Consultant at Egon Zehnder International from March 2011 to March 2014. Stefan Ries holds a Diplom in Economics from the University of Konstanz and has pursued further education at INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
