Jaya Vaidhyanathan

Dr. Jaya Vaidhyanathan (Jaya) is the President, BFSI & Strategic Initiatives, and CEO - BCT Digital. In this role, she spearheads the development of BCT’s product strategy for the BFSI vertical with a focus on delivering enhanced value through innovation. In a career spanning over a decade, Jaya has handled multi-billion dollar portfolios and driven product strategy, risk management, M&A functions, technology delivery and execution for Fortune 100 companies.

A much sought after speaker in national and international forums across Europe, US, China and Australia, Jaya has been recognized with numerous awards including the ‘Outstanding Manager of the Year’ by All India Management Association,'Leading Women in Business Award' from International Women Leadership Forum and 'IT Person of the Year' by Dataquest Weekly. Jaya was recognized with the Women Icon India Global Award 2019 for her services and contributions in the field of information technology.

Jaya had played key roles in Innovation, Marketing, Management Consulting, Outsourcing advisory and technology. Her illustrious career includes key roles in AT & T and Merrill Lynch before taking over as Director and Global Business Unit Head – Business Consulting for HCL Technologies, responsible for overseeing the entire gamut of operations in the consulting practice, with the additional responsibility for leading the core transition team for banking, financial services, and insurance domain and F&A activities for other verticals. As the Managing Partner for Accenture, she grew the company’s Financial Services practice to a team size of 15,000.

Prior to joining BCT, Jaya was the Executive Vice President of Standard Chartered Bank leading the business operations for managing technology and strategic transformation of the Bank where she managed a team of 6400 people across Wholesale Banking, Consumer Banking, Core banking and group functions.
