Socorro Martinez

Socorro Martinez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career at Methodist Youth Services, Inc. in 2005 as an HR Generalist, where they managed recruitment, selection, and retention practices. In 2008, Socorro joined David Gomez & Associates as a Recruiter/Search Consultant, specializing in executive and managerial candidates across various industries. In 2011, they moved on to Quick Leonard Kieffer, a retained executive search firm, where they served as a Principal, providing quality solutions to clients in the healthcare, academic, association, and non-profit sectors. Currently, Socorro holds a position at BAI, a prominent provider of tools and content for the financial services industry. They initially joined BAI in 2014 as a Human Resources Recruiter and steadily progressed to become a Manager in Human Resources. Socorro now serves as a Senior Manager, responsible for empowering financial services leaders to make informed business decisions.

Socorro Martinez obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from DePaul University in 2002. Socorro has also obtained several additional certifications from LinkedIn, including Difficult Conversations: Talking about Race at Work in February 2021, Interviewing Techniques in September 2019, Performance-Based Hiring in September 2019, and Talent Management in April 2019.
