Amir Zamani

Amir Zamani is a seasoned professional in the life sciences sector, currently serving as a Partner at Bain Capital since April 2018, focusing on the Life Sciences Fund. Prior to this role, Amir held the position of Partner in the Life Sciences Practice at McKinsey & Company from January 2012 to March 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as a Resident Physician in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System from June 2008 to January 2012. Amir's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Biological Sciences from Stanford University, a Doctor of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
