Jamil Ansari

Jamil Ansari, CFA, has a strong background in research and analysis, particularly in the banking, finance, and insurance sectors. Jamil is currently the Head of Research & BFSI Analyst at Bajaj Allianz Life, where they have been working since 2019. Prior to that, Jamil held the position of Equity Research Analyst - BFSI at Bajaj Allianz Life from 2019 to 2022. Jamil also served as an Equity Analyst - BFSI & Pharma at Aviva India from 2018 to 2019. Before joining Aviva, Jamil worked as a Senior Analyst at Renaissance Investment Managers from 2017 to 2018 and as a Senior Analyst - India Research at Mizuho Bank from 2016 to 2017. Jamil gained experience in portfolio management as a Jr. Portfolio Manager at Daiwa Asset Management (I) Pvt. Ltd from 2011 to 2016. Jamil Ansari, CFA holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from S S Jondhale College of Engineering, Mumbai University, which they completed from 1999 to 2003. Jamil also has a Master's degree in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, which they pursued from 2004 to 2006. Jamil's education journey began with their completion of HSC in Science from S.I.E.S College of Arts, Science & Commerce - Mumbai University from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education, SSC, at St. Mary's High School, Kalina - Mumbai, from 1987 to 1997. Along with their academic qualifications, Jamil Ansari, CFA has obtained additional certifications, including the prestigious CFA Charterholder from the CFA Institute in 2014, demonstrating their expertise in finance. Jamil is also set to achieve a 10-Year Professional Learning Milestone from the United Latino Students Association in 2023.
