Marwa Omar

Marwa Omar is an experienced professional with a robust background in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Regional Segment Director at Baker Hughes since December 2011. In this role, Marwa leads the Well Construction Segment, focusing on a comprehensive solution-based portfolio for drill bits, drilling services, and fluids tailored to MENATI customers and partners. Previous positions at Baker Hughes include Region Product Line Director, Oilfield Services Sales Account Manager, and Engineering Lead. Prior to Baker Hughes, Marwa worked at Vodafone Egypt as a Research Engineer, collaborating with the American University in Cairo on a successful Real Time Data Synchronization project. Additional experience includes roles at General Motors as an After Sales Service Engineer and at MobiDeck in China as a Purchasing Assistant Manager. Marwa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from The American University in Cairo and IGCSE certification from The British School of Kuwait.
