John S. Dickerson

John S. Dickerson serves as the Lead Pastor at Connection Pointe Christian Church since November 2017, focusing on connecting people to Jesus and the community. In addition to pastoral duties, John has authored several best-selling books, including "Hope of Nations" and "Jesus Skeptic," with publications under HarperCollins Publishers and Baker Publishing Group. John contributed op-eds as a freelance columnist for USA TODAY and The New York Times. Previous roles include Teaching Pastor at Venture Christian Church, Senior Pastor at Cornerstone Church, and investigative reporter at Phoenix New Times. John holds an M.Div in theology from Phoenix Seminary and a B.A. in journalism from Bob Jones University.
