Matt Collins

Matt Collins has a strong background in intellectual property (IP) with over 20 years of experience. Matt served as the IP Operations Director at BakerHostetler from January 2021 to present, and prior to that, they held the position of Director of IP Services from June 2014 to January 2021. Before joining BakerHostetler, Matt worked at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP as the Manager of Docketing and Client Services from February 2012 to June 2014, and as a Docket Supervisor from April 2011 to February 2012. Matt also gained experience in IP docket management at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP from October 2010 to April 2011. Earlier in their career, Matt worked at Kilpatrick Stockton, where they held multiple roles including IP Docket Coordinator from October 2006 to October 2009, Intellectual Property Paralegal from October 2004 to October 2006, and IP Project Assistant from October 2000 to October 2004.

Matt Collins attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Later, from 2009 to 2010, they returned to Georgia Institute of Technology to complete another Bachelor of Science degree, this time in History, Technology and Society with a focus on Management.
