Director, Brand & Product Experience at Bakkt

Aly Gill has a diverse range of work experience in the field of marketing and brand management. Aly started their career in 2014 at Brad Kuhn & Associates, where they worked in public relations and communications. Aly then joined Manhattan Sports Business Academy as a selected participant, where they received comprehensive learning and had an internship placement.

In 2015, Aly worked at Roc Nation as part of the branding and strategic partnerships team. Aly collaborated with the marketing team to strategize brand initiatives and researched potential brand collaborations for high-profile clients in sports and entertainment.

Aly then joined the University Athletic Association Inc as a marketing and promotions assistant, where they coordinated halftime performances, game day sponsorships, and various fan engagements. Aly also contributed to social media analytics and creative content development.

Aly's experience in sports marketing continued at the Jacksonville Jaguars, where they supported the planning and execution of Junior Jags events and managed fan pack requests. Aly also played a role in training and onboarding game day staff.

From 2017 to 2021, Aly worked at Merlin Entertainments, primarily in roles related to brand management and promotions at LEGOLAND resorts. Aly supported the development of marketing strategies, managed partnerships, and oversaw creative development and media relations. Aly also worked on national event toolkits and budgets for a range of attractions.

In 2021, Aly joined Macy's as a loyalty marketing manager, focusing on partnerships and perks. Aly managed loyalty programs and developed strategies to enhance customer experiences.

Currently, Aly works at Bakkt as the director of brand and product experience, where they are responsible for leading and overseeing the development of the brand and product experience.

Aly Gill obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida, where they attended from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, they participated in a Study Abroad Program in Florence, Italy, through the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications. Aly Gill also holds additional certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, which they obtained in May 2021, and in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Digital Marketing Google Certification, obtained in March 2020.
