Lior Kastel

Lior Kastel is currently the VP of R&D at Balance. Prior to this, they served as the SVP of Engineering at K Health from May 2019 to July 2020. From May 2016 to April 2019, they were the Engineering Manager at otonomo. From June 2013 to May 2016, they worked as a Full Stack SWE at MentAd. From June 2012 to May 2013, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Epoch. From August 2007 to August 2012, they led projects in several teams as an engineer for the IDF - Israel Defence Forces. Finally, from August 2006 to July 2007, they taught Java and development skills to a group of MEET students as a CS Teaching Assistant.

Lior Kastel attended Y Combinator, a computer science and business management program. Lior then went on to receive their Bachelor of Science in computer science and business management from Tel Aviv University. Lior is currently a computer science, business and entrepreneur student at MEET (Middle East Education through Technology).
