Shannon Taylor

Shannon Taylor is a CAD Technician at Balfour Beatty. Prior to their current position, Shannon worked as an Assistant Project Coordinator at FJD Construction Ltd from October 2019 to March 2020. In their previous role, Shannon was responsible for the creation of work package plans, site request forms, and task briefing sheets for the pre-construction team. Shannon was also heavily involved with the pre-construction project planning stage, attending planning meetings, assisting with possession organisation, creation of required permits, and ensuring site investigation works and enabling works are undertaken on time and to budget. Shannon has experience coordinating between the planning, design, and construction teams to resolve project issues. Shannon has also worked on a scheme of 48 bridges, a mixture of reconstruction and repair projects. Additionally, Shannon undertook a site supervisor role for the works within Rowley Regis tunnel assisting the project team by supervising brickwork repairs and ventilation shaft concrete repair works.

Shannon Taylor's educational career began at Ridgewood High School. Shannon then studied civil and transportation engineering at the University of Wolverhampton, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng (Hons)). Shannon is also certified by the Association for Project Management (APM) as a student.
