Adam Shalapin

Adam Shalapin is the Director of Global Sustainability at Ball Corporation, where since June 2016, responsibilities include leading sustainability strategy for the North American Beverage business, translating initiatives into business opportunities, and developing the Net Zero Model that underpins Ball's Climate Transition Plan. Prior to this role, Adam served as Manager of Global Sustainability at Ball, where contributions included spearheading renewable energy strategies and advising executives on sustainability risks. Previously, Adam held positions at United Airlines, ERM, and CDM Smith, focusing on environmental management, regulatory compliance, and climate change support. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Energy, Environment, and Economics from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
