Kirsten Buche is a seasoned plant breeder with extensive experience in the agricultural industry. Currently serving as a Plant Breeder at Ball FloraPlant since February 2021, Kirsten has previously held significant roles such as Trait Discovery Project Specialist Lead at Bayer Crop Science and Discovery Genetics Research Associate at Monsanto Company, where projects focused on vegetable trait discovery and drought-resistant corn breeding. Through a career that began at DuPont Pioneer, including roles in corn and sunflower breeding research, Kirsten has consistently demonstrated expertise in genetics and breeding, underpinned by a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Genetics from the University of California, Davis.
