Kees van Petersen

Kees van Petersen is an experienced manager in the horticultural industry with a strong background in production and operations. At Ball Horticultural Company/Pan American Seed since April 2008, Kees has overseen production and seed operations in the Netherlands and trial production in Africa. Previous roles include Senior Research Associate focused on germplasm evaluation and General Manager for Ball China, where Kees managed flower seed production. Prior experience also includes positions at Pan American Seed/Kieft as Global Production Manager for perennials, and at Royal Van Zanten as Managing Director in New Zealand. Earlier roles encompassed farm management and production management at various companies, including Van Zanten Schoenmaker Agrifloricultura Ltda. and PT Hasfarm Sulawesi. Kees holds a BSc in Tropical Agriculture from Van Hall Larenstein University and completed studies in tree nursery, landscaping, and fruit cultivation at Middelbare Tuinbouwschool GA van Swieten.
