Jennifer Coy

Jennifer Coy is the Chair and Associate Professor of Computer Science at Ball State University, a position held since June 2021, following a tenure as a Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Anderson University from 2014 to June 2021. Jennifer has significant experience in academia, having served as an Associate Professor at Saint Joseph's College from 2004 to 2014, where responsibilities included Chair of the Earth and Space Sciences Department and teaching various courses in Computer Science and Physics. Additional roles include Adjunct Professor and Assistant Professor positions at Purdue University and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Wabash College, focused on introductory astronomy. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master’s degree in Physics from Purdue University, along with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science Engineering and Engineering Physics from The University of Toledo.
