Vikki Doddamani

Project Lead Early Parenting Centre at Ballarat Health Services

Vikki Doddamani has a diverse work experience in various healthcare and parenting roles. Currently, they work as a Project Lead at Grampians Health's Early Parenting Centre. Prior to this, they served as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager at the Covid-19 vaccination hub in Ballarat, where they supported the community by administering vaccines. Vikki also has experience as a Company Owner at Forever Flourishing Families, where they focused on promoting positive relationships through touch in infant massage classes. Vikki has been a committee member at Infant Massage Australia, helping professionals promote the importance of infant massage. Additionally, they worked as a licensed Solihull Approach Trainer at Solihull Approach, aiming to enhance emotional health and well-being for parents and professionals. In the past, Vikki served as a PASDS practitioner at Cafs and Centacare Catholic Diocese of Ballarat, providing support to families. Before moving to Australia, they worked as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse and Health Visitor at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust, respectively, where they offered early intervention support to families and utilized their knowledge of child development and relationships.

Vikki Doddamani has pursued a diverse range of educational endeavors. In 1999 to 2001, they attended Teesside University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pediatric Nursing. Later in 2012 to 2013, they pursued a postgraduate masters level degree in Specialist Community Public Health at the University of Suffolk. In 2018, Vikki attended the University of Melbourne for a short term, focusing on Immunization and Travel Health, and also completed a course in Cue-based Infant Massage at Baby in Mind. More recently, from 2017 to 2017, they engaged in further education at the Olga Tennison Research Centre, specializing in the ADOS field. Currently, Vikki is enrolled at Federation University Australia, working towards completing a Masters in Perinatal Infant Mental Health, specializing in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.
