Since 1986, Bill Janovitz has co-founded the band Buffalo Tom, serving as a singer-guitarist and songwriter. Additionally, Bill Janovitz has established a successful freelance career as a composer, providing music for various broadcasts, including themes for the Boston Red Sox Radio Network and This Old House. An accomplished author, Bill Janovitz released "Leon Russell: The Master of Space and Time’s Journey Through Rock & Roll History" in March 2023, along with another book on the Rolling Stones. Bill Janovitz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned in 1989.
